I used to think the Pacific division was terrible. But the Knights and Kings are looking every bit like teams that can do some damage.

Leafs stink. Good to see the Hurricanes strike back quickly after the Leafs tied it up. Aho scored the winning goal with just over two minutes left in regulation time.

Wow, the Kraken are road warriors. They have the 3rd best road record in the league. The Kraken just steamrolled over the Predators 7-2. The Predators had only one shot in the 1st period and the shots were 39-16 for Seattle.

The Habs crushed the BJs from the 2nd period to the end of the game to win 8-2. Harvey Pinard scores a hat trick in the 2nd period.

Comrie makes 26 saves for the SHUTOUT as the Sabres keep their playoff hopes alive with the 2-0 win. Okposo scores the GWG with 6:30 left in the 3rd period.

The Wild have only lost once in reg time over the past 19 games. It seems like they'll continue this to the end of the season. The Bhawks gave them a battle, but, Hartman scored the GWG with 71 seconds left in reg time. The win puts the Wild into 2nd place in the western conf.

What is it with the Canucks? They keep their hot streak going as they are now 8-2-0 in the past 10 games. they beat the Stars 3-1. Demko was in net and has never lost to the Stars, he's 6-0-0.

For the record, I think the Kraken are pretenders. But what were their factors on this year’s turnaround? I don’t think anyone considered them even being middle of the pack.
