That score really flatters the Kings.
Markstrom was the reason it was even close.

I stopped reading the game threads a few seasons ago.

Looks like I should stop reading the PGTs as well. I'll just check on the latest posts by Gaskel, might be easier than reading all this whining. Unless you "realists" want to ruin the ATL as well.

Your life must really suck if you are actually a fan who can't enjoy winning a game
This is the type of stuff I heard people say to each other when in Junior High. What are you? 8 years old

Oh look, someone said something negative about the Flames so #1 fanboy comes to the rescue. People's lives must suck even though you spend all your spare time on the forum defending the Flames everyday. Maybe go for a walk one of these days.

No question.

The negativity in this thread is ridiculous

The defensive zone coverage has been weak and a lot of fire drill stuff but we aren't giving up a lot of shots or chances it seems our goalie is letting us down.

We miss Kylington transition game big time our puck movement exiting our zone was much better last year.

I don’t know how some of you aren’t happy with this game. We had the game in hand minus two small stretches where the kings scored 2 goals each. We were dominating all night, we got the W, and we were smothering the Kings after we got the lead. A tiny lapse in judgment and average goaltending made this game closer than it should be.

If the Flames can combine the first two periods from this game and the third period from the Jets game regularly they will contend

Good news is that the first line is looking like a first line for the first time all season.

The bad news is the rest of the blender (while each line did score on 5 on 5 today) can still be frustrating to watch at times.

Says the guy who came to the PGT to complain about a WIN two days after a 7 game losing streak

You must be fun at parties

The good news is that if the Flames can get all the #### they are doing wrong sorted out they will be great...

To be serious Markstrom still looks shaken. I think he will come around. He just needs to throw up a shut out to get his swagger back.

This tiny lapse in judgement seems to be a constant theme this year especially in the third with a lead. At some point, it needs to be addressed.

A win is a win but this team almost blew another 3 goal lead in the third period. They need to learn how to lock things down.

I dunno they all had looks tonight and were overall dominant

high danger chances 19-7 . most of the roster had a point . what was wrong with the blender

Thats kinda the problem.

They absolutely dominated the Kings and it was still a 6-5 squeaker.

Hey, take the win, absolutely, just dont dismiss the fact that this team still has some major issues to work out.

They are either really, really good or complete abject crap with no middle ground.

That isnt sustainable.
