Some shoppers drug marts have both childrens advil and children's Tylenol, but they are kept behind the pharmacy counter to deter hording. If you ask, they will give you one.

I went on business trip to the states a month ago and retuned with $100 in kids cold medicine. Just ridiculous considering US and Australia don’t have same problem. Its been like this for 6 months.

I’m so sick today. Been in bed since 11 while leaving my wife with a handful of a toddler. I feel terrible but can’t get out of bed. It feels like every cell of my body is on fire and even just turning my head is excruciating.

Fever is 38.6 which is just moderate but I have not felt this terrible in years, even with influenza, Covid, and bronchitis all within a couple weeks of each other in April.

My whole house is sick. Wife and I feel like we’ve been run over. This is taking longer than COVID did.

Update at day 14 of entire family getting this.

Kids are relatively back to normal but still coughing. They each missed one week of school.

For adults and my wife had same symptoms as I do.

Week 1: I worked about 25 hrs first week of being sick, took lots of Tylenol and felt terrible. Really chesty cough.

Week 2 I worked a normal week and felt a 6/10 at best. Really tired (in bed by 9pm and up at 7 or 8am). No more body aches but still chesty cough.

This is my 3rd weekend where I will spend it beside a fire while either watching premier league or reading books.

Anyways, I’ve lost about 5 lbs through this, so not all bad.

Street Pharma lives up to his name! I've always wondered with the shortages for children's tylenol why people didn't just cut their regular tylenol in half or crush it up and weight it for the right dosage?

People need to lighten up. I thought that was one of the funnier skits/ads on SNL so far this season.

Fever went up to 39.3 yesterday and I felt like absolute garbage. Spent the night sweating and blowing my nose, must have chugged 2L of water but my mouth felt like a desert cause I couldn't breathe through my nose.

Feeling a bit better today, going to take it easy and rest but I can see things turning around.

Well, COVID lunatics arent notorious for their sense of humour.

You've got anti-vax Convoy lunatics on one side and all-the-vax, COVID fanboy lunatics on the other.

Its not like there is any moderate middle-ground.

Haha, nope! I'm actually on a leave this year doing my Masters degree so I don't have to go in and spread whatever this is to the kids.

I've started wearing masks again when in busy public areas for sure. Getting my kids to when we're out and about as much as possible as well, even just to keep hygiene at top of mind as much as possible.

At school, we're not having my Grade 2'er wear a mask since with gym, lunch, etc, it's not going to make a difference.

My toddler is too young to keep a mask on all day, which sucks since she's in daycare, and that's the biggest germ factory of them all.

My wife (a teacher) is going back to wearing one. One of my kids never stopped wearing them to school (his choice), the other probably won't unless most of her classmates do.

I don't know what I have but it's a doozy. Sore throat for 2+ weeks now, and the last 5 days have been brutal. Feel like absolute trash. Congested, weak, alternating between hot and cold, feeling like I've had the life sucked out of me. Tylenol Complete has helped to get me through it thankfully but man, this is rough. I tested negative for Covid 4 times between Wednesday and yesterday, so I'm thinking either flu or RSV? I have no idea but I hate it.
