2020 Flames - no effort most nights
Win randomly here and there
Play yourself out of both playoffs and a high draft pick.

Mediocrity continues for another decade.
Rinse, repeat.

Don’t call up your kids and see what you got.
Don’t fully rebuild
Sign bad UFA contracts
Give your core the longest leash possible with no playoff success

I still don’t like the narrative of “no effort”.

That is giving their skill level entirely too much credit.

This is a woefully under skilled team. Full stop.

No #1 defenceman. No #1 RW. No #2 RW. No #1 centre. AHL players scattered throughout the lineup.

It’s a garbage roster.
