This is disappointing.
Because while I am confident based on how the Flames have played this series that they would be in a position to win it whether or not Laine and Schiefele were in all three games, without them there will remain this lingering question about their post-season intestinal fortitude.
Through no fault of their own, the Flames are still facing down the lingering doubts like those of chicken little right above me.

Yes. I really want them to post a solid win tonight and show me that they aren't as mentally fragile as we fear.

Hard to blame Flames fans for being pessimistic. We've all been hurt before.

How does seeding for the next round work?
Are they going to re-seed everyone or are the Flames/Jets still slated to play the #1 team in the conference after the round robin.

Hmm, I purchased $20 for 10 tickets and it only processed $10 for 3. Anyone else have this issue?

Everyone is re-seeded when the play-in ends. The best way to think of the play-in is as an approximation of the ten-game stretch to end the season that was lost. If the Flames advance, they will be slotted behind Nashville, Edmonton, and Vancouver, but ahead of Arizona and Chicago. Depending on what happens, they could find themselves in the #3 Divisional slot yet, which is something that looked well within their reach when the season was suspended.

I believe they re-seed the Playoff matchups, which is why the top 4 are playing the round-robin.
So it is possible the Flames get the 4 seed if Chicago, Arizona and Minnesota win their series. If Edmonton, Vancouver and Nashville all win their series, Calgary will play the 1 Seed.

^ So Chicago winning helps the Flames in more ways than one.

I would imagine that if the Hawks oust the Oilers, the Hawks would be playing the #1 seeded team, which signs point to that team being the Avs.

I don't know if it helps all that much. I think if Colorado finishes first, the Flames are better off avoiding them in Round #1, but playoff seeding on the basis of a three-game round robin tournament is a total crap-shoot.

Lots of work to be done to get out of this series. But you have to think the Flames would love a date with the Stars rather than Vegas, Colorado, or St Louis.

For anyone getting an error, just refresh the page every time it throws the error.
I got an error on Step 2, refreshed, it worked. Then again on Step 3 after entering cc info, refreshed, it worked.
Received confirmation email 5min after and confirmed it only charged once.

I sent an email and received a message indicating that the volume of transactions is causing them issues. The pot is nowhere near what Edmonton's was and they're having problems? Typical of the Flames and their IT issues.
