I’m more upset that the hold was missed! Two blatant penalties completely ignored. What are they watching?

No surprise from the PBP crew and Edmonton media response so far to so far up ass of the organization, that they're are just trying to let it slide unnoticed.

You cannot use your skate in a malicious attempt whatsoever. NHL needs to be firm here, and get at least 10 games for that. You just can't do that; even if the player wasn't hurt from it.

Oiler fans: "Cernak clearly leaned his chest into Kassian"

St.Kassian can do no wrong - anyone think this will get close to the run on SN/TSN that Tkachuk's clean hit got?

Answer: no chance in hell

Tampa Bay should be screaming about this. Make sure the NHL doesn't let this slide.

He’s a thug.

The NHL shouldn’t allow him to continue in this league after these past two incidents.

You do these things in any other facet of society and you go to jail.

But they’ll slap him on the wrist and let him continue to represent their game, because you know, heat of the moment.

As a former referee that would have been impossible to see. Only hope is the back side linesman saw it.

He's getting 10 games regardless of the no call.

Anyone who watches that guy for more the a couple games knows he has rocks for brains on and off the ice, and that this kick out is far from a shock. How the Edmonton media convinced mainstream media to give this mouth breather the benefit of any doubt in the Tkachuk situation is beyond me.

I hope they start polling ALL the former players about what they thought about the kick like they did with the Tkachuk hits.

USA today, sports illustrated and Tampa newspaper have all already written articles about the kick. Hopefully this is embarrassing enough for Bettman in the u.s. that a lengthy suspension is coming.

Take easy guys. He isn't a plug, he has like 11 goals this season.

The biggest shock out of a suspension is the NHL being able to identify a kicking motion.

Kassian says “he was holding my leg”. Replay says “nope”.

First highlight on Snet, so this isn’t going to be swept under the rug by the Oilers spin machine.
