Tampa Bay fans are surprisingly ok with this suspension. It should have been more, but playoff games always have more value then regular season games.

Should have been two, but better than zero. You can’t say a playoff game is worth more when you cite the fact that it’s “message sending” late in a game, to a team you’ll be playing again in two nights in said playoffs. I’m guessing the fact he has no history of dirty hits is the reason why he got less than Kadri.

At least they gave him one which is deserved. If its Nutivara hitting Kucherov at the end of a game when his team is down 2-0 I doubt he gets off with one game.

While I'm honestly shocked that the League even had the courage to give him one game, Kucherov still got the superstar discount. That warranted more than one.

pretty much... also, i don't think Kucherov is a dirty player, so first time offender, playoff game, best player in the league discount.
One game is what i thought he'd get, though i think if it were anyone else, it would have been two.
TB fans are ok with it because it was a dirty play, and they know it... if someone did that to Gaudreau, i'd be livid... by the same token, if one of calgary's player did that, say a bennett or tkachuk, i would expect a suspension...

I'd say 1 in the playoffs is equivalent to 2 reg season games. I'd say that is fair for a bone-headed play by someone without a history of this.
