Oh yeah for sure, it's the rest of it that really irks me. 25 years of garbage drafting with a few hits miles and miles apart. The Flames seem to always end up with a decent core one way or another, but can never find good, young, cheap supporting pieces through the draft like the good teams do. Teams like Boston and Tampa and Nashville and Anaheim etc.
Anyways, I'm done ranting. Just fed up with the Flames and their also ran ways. Watching these teams in the playoffs is really driving it home. Boston was supposedly on the down swing two years ago and are suddenly elite again because they can ####ing draft.

The first five series so far have all opened with the home team winning game one. I might just have a bad memory, but it seems like that doesn't happen a lot anymore.
Last year, 5 of the 8 first round series saw the road team win game one.
