The Jets' break started a day before the Flames, so it probably also ended early too.

It's a mandated 5-day break. The Flames may not have been able to practice until 4:00 because their last game didn't end until just before 4:00pm MT on Sunday. The Jets last game was Saturday night, so their break may have ended Thursday night. (I'm just guessing, I don't know how the rules for these breaks work.)

Yesterday, Sara Orlesky tweeted that the Jets were practicing in the morning before flying the Calgary in the afternoon.
