It is Strome.

They call him this because the media reported they traded Eberle for "cap space".

Russell. That’s who they spent all the gained cap space acquired in the Eberle deal on.

Did you hear Remenda going on about Nurse kicking the puck up to his stick on the Nurse goal? This was school-girl crush embarrassing for the biggest homer in all of hockey.

Not sure if we're allowed to link to HFOil but about halfway down page 3 of today's PGT a poster called 'GreatKeith' clarifies its Strome.

Mods - please remove link if disallowable and accept my apologies.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Or something.

Vegas could play .500 hockey the rest of the way (41 games left) and still be easily in the playoffs with 100+ points (currently have 60).

Final scores
http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/news/NHL-Recap-Roundups.aspx?date=01-07-2018
http://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/scoreboard.asp?day=20180106

Wow, the 1st place Knights in the western conf. hit the jackpot again as Karlsson scores the winning goal midway through the third period to defeat the Rangers 2-1.

Good on the Habs beating the Canucks 5-2. It was a close game and the Canucks did come back from a 2-0 deficit. Gallagher gets the GWG in the 3rd period and then the Habs score 2 empty net goals in 16 seconds later on. The Lightning strike back with the same 5-2 score over the Red Wings. Domingue gets his first win in net with the Bolts making 34 saves.

The final score of 4-1 happened in 3 games. The Bhawks smack the Oilers, the Jets over the Sharks, and the Flyers over the Sabres. The Flyers scored also 2 empty net goals late in the game. LOL at the Oilers.

That was a wild game between the Bruins and Penguins. The Pens win 6-5 in OT, Malkin with the GWG and Crosby with 3 assists. The 1st and 2nd periods had lots of goals.

The last 2 games went to the SO. It was a goaltender's dual in both games too. The BJs beat the Panthers 2-1 with Bobrovsky making 42 saves to Reimer's 46 saves. The Isles beat the Devils 5-4 and in the 1st period the Isles had 21 shots on Schneider, but, it was Halak that made 42 saves in the victory.

Kind of neat seeing the Blues and Flyers twice over the weekend, teams many don't follow much through out the season.
