Also good news on the YouTube front. Pretty sure I managed to successfully chop up the 3 segments of the Gaudreau 2017 World Championships video that kept getting auto content-detected and blocked worldwide. I uploaded just those rearranged segments and they passed through.

So I'm rendering the video now, and will post it tomorrow.

There were no Glass / Bartkowski in the lineup tonight to screw that up. Rolling 4 lines / 3 pairs ad infinitum actually works when you have 4 lines / 3 pairs to roll.

Ferland might be the best option on line 1 right now. Not long term but his speed with Gaudreau keeps other teams honest.

The Flames played pretty well tonight. Gotta respect the grit in a comeback like this.

That said, the Predators were pretty off tonight. But a lot of their individual players looked great.

Great comparison. I always thought he looked like Tim Kerr as well.

Best part of it is he now uses it way more than he has been. He's learned that its NHL caliber and is good enough to beat the best netminders. Might see 35 of em out of him this year.

Oh and....

I don't always agree with Gulutzan's decisions, chief among them being his usage of Bennett, but we were one the top teams in the NHL in the second half of last season, and it wasn't just because Elliott played well.

Not sure what game you were watching. We really picked it up in the 2nd, started hitting and were forcing the play.

Outside of those two power plays in the first we controlled the majority of this game and deserved the win.

Not understanding the park the car / swerving car gifs.

This was a well deserved win. Nashville was lucky to be leading through two.

Bennett's worthy of being Maverick's wingman.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

There was no Glass and Bartkowski in the last game either. Your point makes no sense. Is Gulutzan a good coach for shifting the lineup or are you putting the congratulations solely on those bottom of the roster players for changing the entire team's game? Your logic escapes me.

As much as people complained about the hockey gods during the game, the bounces evened out. A few total whiffs on open nets by Pred players.

Not sure what happened in the 2nd but all of a sudden Ferland and Bennett went into crash and smash mode and I loved it. Hopefully they keep that up.

GG has taken forever to put this lineup on the ice.

CP has been clamoring for this lineup for atleast a week now.

Bennett seemed a lot more relaxed. Hopefully this goal made Ferland a bit more relaxed. I thought those two specifically have had the tightest grips on their sticks.

I thought the 3M line did a lot better tonight. Hopefully with Tkachuk's performance, that gets that line really rolling again. Flames just need to start getting a few guys rolling.

They were much better defensively as well, as I didn't see them allowing too many easy opportunities. That's what I am looking for in every game with defence corps.

I sure as hell hope that I don't have to read any more of this "Monahan is not a 1st line center", or "Monahan can't create by himself" or "Monahan blah blah blah". There is probably not a more annoying post on these boards other than comments stating that somehow Monahan isn't really that good (ok, Bennett being a bust by a few posters REPEATEDLY is rather annoying too). Look at how many huge goals he scores! That's a difference maker if there ever was one. Monahan is the clutchiest clutch of them all.
