1. Gary Roberts - My type of player. Tough, hard hitting, plays both way, fights, scores...
2. Jarome Iginla - see above
3. Mark Messier - despite my hatred of the Oilers, especially as a kid, always respected the way Messier played the game. He scared other players, you could see it. Not sure I ever saw him lose a fight.

1) Paul Kariya - Every Half Japanese kid needs a Half Japanese superstar to cheer for.
2) Sean Monahan - As my wife said, he's the one who made me think the Flames won't be awful forever.
3) Theo Fleury - Only saw him play live once in a preseason game, but I loved how he played every game, especially in the '02 Olympics.
