Yeah it was underwhelming at BB. Some suits were 40% off but they were the less desired colors or patterns. 25% seemed to be the norm. But then I think they weaseled by charging for the usual "free" alterations.

In Mexico right now. 2 x 12 packs of Corona in cans for 124 pesos at the Nuevo Vallarta Wal-Mart. That's about $8.25 CAD for 24.

Anyone find snowboards, boots, or gear sales worth looking at?

This whole season was pretty weak on sales.

Specifics? Check had 20% off almost everything if you're looking for entry/mid grade. Atmosphere had ~20% off some really good backcountry stuff (choked, I should have waited to buy boots - turns out they carry the ones I picked up in October for a fraction of the price). Monods usually has a decent boxing day but I haven't looked at their gear this year.

Looking for a soundbar for my Samsung smart tv. I've got it down to between Samsung and Polk. Think I actually like the sound of the Polk one better, but is there an advantage to having the same brand tv and sound bar? Or does it not really matter?

I'd check the reviews on wirecutter, if you want a good opinion. That's my go-to page for reviews on electronics.

Doesn't make any difference at all.
Ran a Sony TV with my Samsung sound bar for years. Mind you I had a Logitech Harmony remote already.

Shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes, unless you mean tweaking.
Enjoy your not crappie sound.
By the way, why do tvs that cost north of $1000 sound like their speakers
came from a cell phone?

Nope, just basic setting it up, I'm good like that. I gave up after a half hour haha, absolutely no idea where to even start with it. It's pretty much going to be sitting in a box until this weekend when my buddy who thankfully works for an electronics company comes over this weekend.

Aren't soundbars just an A/C and HDMI or optical cable?

Idk, all i know is it came with like 8 different cords and I don't even know what goes into the subwoofer and what goes into the bar, or where all the others go. It's not helping I've been an absolute zombie all day cuz this sucker had to work today, but knowing me with this stuff, it wouldn't make too much of a difference lol.

All good, I just wanted the deal before it expired. Now it can sit in a box until Saturday

UPDATE: I got it, yeah it was stupid easy haha
