It's a cold day in hell when Swedes and Finns agree on anything hockey-related, but I'd say that this is about right.

I'm surprised at how well regarded the Austrian League is while the German League is near the bottom. I always thought the German League had great attendance and therefore could afford good players.

I went to some live Erste Bank Hockey League games about 3 years ago and found the product highly entertaining and up tempo. I can't directly compare them to the other leagues in Europe, but as a stand alone assessment, it seems like a pretty skilled and competitive league.

I hope the Swiss league capitalizes on this makes games available online for streaming.

If this comes to pass it will get the league and their sponsors lots of exposure. I would certainly watch the occasional game.
