Wow is this ever a tight playoff race in the West. What is becoming obvious is that if a team plays .500 hockey you likely don't clinch a spot. You look at all the playoff teams in the West and over the last 10 games only the Sharks are at .500 or below (4-6). Flames may need 10 wins in their last 16 games to pull this out.
Vancouver and LA play twice over the course of the next 10 days. As long as those aren't 3 point games, one of them has to drop out a bit. As much as I hate the Nucks, I want to see them take both in regulation to keep LA at bay.
Winnipeg is in deep sh**. Buff out another couple weeks, Hutchinson is cooling off, and apparently Myers got injured tonight? They also face the 2nd toughest competition out of any of these playoff race teams (Minnesota #1) down the stretch.
