Not the effort I was hoping for my first Flames/Canucks game live. I even overheard some Canucks fans saying they were surprised at how flat the Flames looked compared to what they've seen on TV.
I was so zoned out after the 4th goal that I didn't even realize Gaudreau had scored until they announced it. The only thing I thought was it was about time they did something.

Hartley isn't that kind of coach and he always plays to win. The lineup was depleted without Brodie, Cammalari, etc but he showed lots of confidence in Johnny and Arnold. What other choice did he have?

How can a guy lay off of that?? It was a weak call, as most of the blame should have been on Sedin. Why even go in like that? You're risking injury and know full well a guy is coming in. The cycle game is their trademark after all.

I'd like Torts to expand on what the "stuff was going on when Sedin was hurt"? If you are going to call someone out, then call him out and explain, don't be a ##### and say something happened then not elaborate. All that does is allow him to pretend Hartley did something less than classy at that moment but not have to be accountable for explaining it or proving it. Chicken #### move.
Definetley saw that Hartley didn't like the 5 and game call, which if that's what Torts is crying about then he needs to give his head a shake. He's been in this league way too long to be surprised that on a boarder line hit like that one that the offending player's coach would stick up for his guy.
How about going over to the opposition teams dressing room in between periods in a fit of rage to create an incident? Would that not be considered bush league?

Torts has got to be the biggest idiot. Calling out Hartley while saying nothing and pretending to be someone who protected his players against the goon line to start the game is so low. He's probably just mad that Hartley ended their season in January and they never recovered from that. What a loser.
