I had no intention of watching all 27 mins(because I'm at work) but I had to watch the entire thing! What stood out the most to me , was how many ham and eggers were on the ice when he scored all those goals, Eric Nystrom, Wayne Primeau, David Moss, the list went on and on. Made me wonder what could have happened if we found a Malkin to Iggie's Crosby?

Why not? Too long? They should show it anyways!

Wow. Speechless, AC.

I think we need to kidnap Ferland and give him the Clockwork Orange treatment with that video.

What a thing of beauty AC!

On another note, man I miss pre first lockout iginla. You literally could not stop him back then. So much intensity.

Without a doubt, the greatest video clip package I have seen. The production quality through the roof, helps with the accces too all the video, some of which I know I haven't seen from the various angles (and can thank ESPN for that).

If the Flames or any commercial production company would ever do something that was 28 minutes (they wouldn't without a bunch of filler fluff or stupid voice overs) it wouldn't get better then this.

Chronolgoical in order, all the details were there, as was all the emotion play after play. Special mention for a couple things...adding/syncing the CBC commentary to ESPN video feeds (better angles) for the 2004 playoffs, and adding Bob Cole's calling of Iginla's 2nd 2002 Gold Medal goal as if he called it at the time correctly...I know for sure after watching the video a multiple times, that Cole had no idea it was Iginla until well after the play started up again.

Understanding those sorts of details and different angles not just the usual goals and clips we've all seen, is the mark of a true pro and make this more then a clip package, its a full fledged production, in HD no less (if you have a Chromecast, fire this up on your TV).

Such a fantastic tribute is fitting for the greatest player to play for the Flames.

Outstanding job Anthony. The selfless hundreds of hours likely spent collecting, sorting and producing all that video into that package is nothing short of amazing.

The Flames made an RFA pitch for Selanne once upon a time. I always wondered what would have happened if the Flames stole him and managed to convert one to LW.

What a phenomenal feat of work you've done there AC!! Absolutely heart-stirring! Loved the music, the pacing, the great combo of clips --- just stunning!

When I could see without tears, it really struck me how often he scored goals and the goalies really just whiffed....they often had no idea where the puck was. There are a ton of goals in that video where you can see how well he picked his own screen. Wow. We need more of those!!

Thanks so much - that was a wonderful piece of memory pie!

What a player! The guy was just unstoppable... I remember how the announcers in every series in '04 would constantly talk about no team had an answer for how to stop him.

I remember the comment being made that the biggest reason why it was such an underdog story during that run was that they just had to stop one player... Just iginla. He didn't have a foresburg, or a Jagr, or a federov, or a messier following a shift right after him... He was it. And no team could do it. The best teams in the league could not shut him down. Not the Canucks. Not the red wings. Not the sharks. And not the lightning. He was an unstoppable force and the best player in the world at the time.

Thank you AC, great job. I think it's gonna be a long time before the NHL sees another player like Iggy who could do it all like he did. A captain who could do it all- score, fight, and make beautiful passes. Not to mention being a class act all the way and a hero in his community. We were very lucky to have him bloom in Calgary like he did and I could only hope to ever have someone close to him in the future. Great, great, player who is a Hall Of Famer all the way.

Amazing video. Crazy attention to detail

Like how you edited the commentary for his fight with Beauchimin so Kerr says "Iginla raining down rights" when he is actually throwing rights. You even make Kerr look good!
