How bad has Smid been for us? No wonder the Oilers traded him.

Someone had mentioned when the season started that Flames looked good because they were more prepared... and that eventually the good teams would tighten up and start playing well.

Seems he was right. Hope it wasn't moon.

It is going to be a long season boys but we knew that going in. Ekblad is starting to look better and better.

Sucks that Berra let in the weak one, hard to defend him after a play like that. If he can just clean up his errors he still has the tools to backstop this team while we see how Ortio and gillies develop. When he's not letting in his 1-2 softies, he plays well enough to keep this team in the game.

Why did Reinhart get stuffed in the minors for so long?

Am I the only one who wishes Backlund was on Sven and Hudler's line?

Not liking Colborne's play so far today, slow to react. Would like to see Backlund with Sven/Huds if that continues

Ducks top line hemming us in with ease.

Refs letting stuff go as a Duck aimed a punch at Reinhart during a scramble in front of the Ducks net, and Baertschi got boarded at center ice.

I think if Colborne continues his play today, backlund will be bumped up before we know it

Nah, Ducks aren't close to 100% for this one. If they were playing better, sure.

I wonder how the team is going to play after losing Wideman and Monahan as they were 2 of their best players lately.

I don't think this is going to be fun to watch...

Colborne doesnt belong with Hudler and Sven simply on his style. He is playing a great 2 way game today but simply doesnt fit with the creativity of Huds and Sven. Give Backlund that spot.
