Also, Butler is nowhere near as bad as CP makes him out to be. He's a mobile bottom pairing guy.
Also, at one of the info sessions Feaster said that Nemisz would be qualified and spoke very highly of his work ethic and that injuries have really hurt his development but he continues to work his tail off. What else can you ask of him? Sounds like a quality guy.

Agreed - Butler is a decent NHL defenseman.
He was put in a situation a couple years ago, and with a partner, that wasn't right for him. And he didn't do well in it.
Fans have been crucifying him ever since.
However, he is only 26 (still pretty young for a D) and is still improving. I think it is pretty undeniable that he improved quite a bit last year vs the year prior (yes, I know - couldn't have gotten worse).
With a more physical partner, he is a good skating, bottom 4 guy.
I hope he continues to improve so that, when some of the prospects are ready in a year or two, we can move him for another asset.
