I think Morrow is probably worth more than late 1st in 2013 but maybe the Flames just really liked the extra prospects.

Plus, if there's a team that knows Morrow's game, it'll be the Flames, they've been watching the Winterhawks a lot over the past few years. Maybe they just didn't think he was worth it.

TSN's take on the Pens lines...

It's TSN so it's probably wrong though...

Feaster did the best he could under the circumstances. This needed to happen two years ago, and in that case management would have had to withstand playing the role of the Grinch, but they could have maximized the value of Iginla and others.

Now there has to be stone serious discussions with the vets on this team. If they have no intent on being a part of a 2+ season process, that may not include them when its rolling, then get on board to go overboard. If Kipper really wants to retire then stay in Calgary, otherwise he better be willing to be dealt or he will spend the next two seasons being fronted by youth. Same for Bouwmeester.

Damn, I wish CP had white text on a black background - I would get a lot more work done.

####'s painful.

Two and two thirds first line material for most teams. Jesus.
