You can't diagnose the infection based on symptoms as MANY types of viral infections have the same "flu-like" symptoms. Going by the symptoms, you could just as easily self-diagnose yourself with HIV infection as you could with influenza.

So im in the middle of the most hellacious bout of flu in my life ( tho the fever has broken i believe)...sounds like im not alone, but i have a terrible stomach ache as well as the other symptoms...is this common with the strain going around?

Everyone in my family has had it. Some had it bad, some had it not as bad.

Most of the people I work with have gotten sick. Some with just a cold, some with an all out flu.

I haven't felt a thing. Not sure what I'm doing different this year from last year other than working out more and taking CQ10.

Bit strange, as I always get sick.
