When I do drink I have more than five, I don't even feel five. Though during the school year I drink a lot less, so its hard to say. Some months I meet that easily, I'm a fairly big guy as well so my tolerance is pretty good. Two weeks ago I polished off a 26 of vodka in about 4 hours then went to the bar, where I had another 8-10 drinks. Don't get me wrong I was trashed, but I was able to walk the hour long walk back to the place we were staying.

During the school year though I work as a bouncer so during prime partying hours I'm working, and the rest of the week I'm in class. Plus after seeing all the drunken university idiots every weekend you don't really feel like going out and getting blasted.

So after thinking about it I'll put myself in the yes category.

Jordon get off the ego trip. Some people enjoy getting drunk, and going out and doing things. You make it sound as though those people are lesser people because they don't follow the same drinking regiment as you. You don't know anyone on the board and your I'm better than you crap is grating at the best of times. You don't know someone personally, and yet you are able to pass judgement on them?

Getting drunk is one of the most overated activities on the planet.
Do you get dressed up in a suit and tie, grab your pamphlets and go slammed door to slammed door on weekends? Just curious....

In all fairness to Jordon (esp since most of his posts were directed to yours truely) I don't think Jordon was attempting the "I'm better then you" attitude. He was merely stating his opinion on drinking, which I respect, and has soured on the experiance of drinking from past experiances - which is totally understandable.

Thanks Phanuthier for actually understand what I was saying... MMM needs to learn to read an entire thread.

As for the comment above about being Russian, I guess that's why I don't like drinking. My russian side of the family drinks way too much and it has resulted in many family problems in the past... not including the drunk ******* who used to beat my dad as a child.

I don't feel the way I feel without reason.

Jordon I did read the entire thread, you came off as a I know better than you, that is sick that you drink so much, look at me I don't drink at all. I don't know if that is what you are trying to get across, but that is what you did when you called people lowlifes who have different drinking patterns than yourself.

Who does that?

Even the people who drink alot from this thread, I doubt they "center their life around drinking" like you're trying to suggest. They all have jobs, some with families, those seem to be their top priorities and the things they center themselves around.

Wow, master of the fataing obvious. I'm beggining to think that I should stop having a goddamn opinion on this site... Because all the responses I get are so bloody obvious, the easy road so to speak (Adam and MMM) It's ok to go out on a limb every now and then Peddle, just a suggestion.

No not every heavy drinker is a lowlife
No not everyone drinks as their only recreation activity
No not everyone who drinks 12 beers in one sitting gets drunk

Yay?

Funny I should run into this thread, I was just thinking about going on a beer run.

Las Vegas is a great city for alcoholics.

I'm free this entire summer and I intend to indulge on this advantageous opportunity for a three month long bender.
