My favorite movie scene of all time....

This is Joaquin Phoenix's best scene IMO

Why I love David Lynch

I'm mad at Dis for putting a scene from Walk The Line before me. Great scene.

I can't find it on youtube, but there is a scene in The Great Escape where Steve McQueen returns to the camp after getting caught on purpose. He brings back information about the surrounding area for their escape.

He -- as only he can -- calmly and coolly returns to "zee cooler!" picks up his baseball and glove and starts up his game again.

Grumpy Old Men holds a special place for me, I have a great affection for Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon.

The movie was brilliant for the tiny little shots between the two rivals in the film. This simple line "why don't you tie your shoe, you'll fall on your stupid head" gets me every time.

Here's a great one:

If you've ever had to make a phone call like that it means so much more! I did once, not nearly as bad but still!

"We ####ed up".

"Yeah, that's not gonna happen"!

Love it!

I've put this movie into the DVD player to watch just this scene on a couple of occasions.

I could probably do this all day. A bunch of my favorite scenes are already posted but here are some I off the top of my head.

Probably one of my favorite Star Wars scenes:

I don't think I've ever laughed as hard as I did when I first heard Travolta say he just shot Marvin in the face.

This is one of my all-time favorites:

When Forrest asks Jenny if little Forrest is smart, gets me every time.

I always liked this scene in Casino Royale. Bond is always the definition that guys are supposed to be, but just the way that this whole scene plays out is amazing.

And on the opposite side of the spectrum, this one scene from Oldboy is just jaw dropping to me. If you haven't seen it yet, please do yourself a favor.
