I'll join in on the fun... My first one is never letting the microwave get to 0, and always stopping it on an even number. I can't ever remember the microwave ever getting to the end of its desired time. What's weird is I never knew this until I looked into this thread.
Second, I have a weird obsession of naming my pets with two names, never do the two words ever have a history together. My cats name is Rainbow Stallion, and my dogs name was Huckleberry Soda. I am sick I think.

When wanting to make a purchase, I'll research and bargain hunt until I feel I'm getting the EXACT thing I want at the best deal possible.
I constantly try to find the best deal possible for any item I buy, whether it be groceries, electronics, clothes or vehicles.
I usually will not buy something unless I know FOR A FACT that I'm getting a deal on it.

I envy you guys that have an obsession with organizing. I can't make myself stay organized naturally. I can consciously decide to be organized but I'll eventually lapse into being messy.
This goes for everything, even something like poker chips. I never have even stacks, except for the few times during the session I remember to organize them. If I ever zone out or get bored I find myself making uneven stacks. It annoys the hell out of my home game buddies.
My teachers laughed at me one year when I found a butter knife in my desk on desk clean up day. Good thing it was in Canada, otherwise I would have probably been arrested.

Whenever I use a mouse, I get a weird itch in my middle finger that's totally just mental. The only cure for the itch is to right click. It's like if I use the left mouse button a lot, I have to add some right clicks to balance it out. After I've used a mouse, if I still feel the itch in my finger, I'll press down on it with my thumb until the itch is gone. In fact, I was just doing this right now, since I was clicking earlier, but typing now. No mouse in hand, so I have to press my middle finger on my thumb until the itch is gone.

The egg part is too funny, I do the exact same thing for the exact same reason. What if I picked them up and because they didn't balance I dropped them on the floor?
I do a lot of obessive things with food where I will only eat it one way. Using candy as an example I will only eat smarties in a certain order and I have to eat all the same color before I move on. I will eat Brown first because it's clearly the ugliest color and tastes the worse, then Purple, then Pink because they are girly colors so I get them out of the way, then I move on to Yellow, Green, Blue, then Red because the Flames and I finish it off with Orange because it's my favorite color.
No idea why or how this started but it seems like I've been doing it since I was a kid and now I find myself doing it without even thinking. And you can only imagine how people react when I get mad about them eatting my smarties out of order.

It sucks when people find this out about you and purposely move things around to see how long it takes before you fix them, especially when they start laughing at you because you don't even realize you're doing it.
I also have a problem with people's tangled phone cords. I've been talking to people at their desk and picked up their phones and untangled the cord without even thinking about doing it.

I misread your post as 'I hump the pillow and make clicking sounds', I was thinking it was way more information than I needed to know.

I was just getting bugged about mine last night. When I got to 7-11 or Macs I usually buy a bag of 5 cent candies. Each 25 cents is a different type of candy and then I have to put them in order of least favorite to favorite and then I have to eat them one at a time in the 1-5 order until the bag is finished. If my sister steals one out of the order, I won't finish the bag. I also like to order stuff like Starbursts and Skittles into my favorite flavour order and eat them in that order.
I also have the organizing the closest/dresser obsession. Everything has to be grouped together and put in their separate drawers.
My mom also bugs me because I always follow the directions when making Kraft Dinner!

While I like to organize my stuff, I am horrible at organization. I only like to have things visually organized. I can't get other things in order, like where files go, or my emails at work, etc. This all made sense to me when we had a PD day at work and we learned about your learning/communication styles. There are three styles: Visual, Audio, Kinisthetic. Most people were a mixture of two, sometimes all three. I was completely Visual. 100% visual.

I too am a highlighter, and I can attest to how it drives people nuts. I'll highlight a sentence or line at a time, release the mouse button, and then highlight the next portion. One day my boss thought I was playing a game or something as he heard my mouse constantly clicking. Now he knows that I"m just reading something.

I have to have the volume of the TV/stereo/whatever ending in either 5 or 0. Also, I can't have just one car window open. I need to have 2 or 4, and they need to be symetrical.
I guess everyone is "weird." In fact, if everyone is so weird, I guess everyone is normal.
Edit: Another thing I always do, is eat my meal in portions starting with my least favourite. I don't move on to the next one until the first one is done.

For me it has to be an even number. Doesn't matter what it is, even if I'm just turning it down a quick second. I love this thread!

I will do my research online go hit a dozen balls buy it and leave if I like it, won't look at another club.
My last road bike, did all the research online, called Ridley's to have a 52 and a 54 inch ready to try out, and bought the 52. Was in and out in 20 minutes maybe.
This thread is hilarious, kinds makes me feel normal. The tapping in symmetry thing is a thing of mine too, except I push/tap my finger tips against my palms with my hand in a loosely clenched fist. And yes symmetry MUST be achieved.
Also, not as much an obsession, but a quark. Any time I have to go in my parents basement to get something out of the deep freeze, I have an immediate urge to piss. Since I was a little kid. I thought I was over this, and the last time I was at my folks place for dinner, my mom asked me to get a bag of peas from the deep freeze. The second I opened the lid to it, I had to scramble up the stairs to take a leak.
