Ferrari pulled a miracle out their butts is what happened. LeClerc hands must be cramped from hanging on so hard.

I'm kind of alright with the strategy that McLarens deploying. They know they have 2 stud drivers and the onus should be on each driver to earn their points without sacrificing the other to do so.

But I guess at the same time, there doesn't appear to be a car that's going to dominate long term either so go get those Driver championships while you can full stop. Because your car may be junk again for another decade.

At this rate Ferrari is going to pass Red Bull in the constructors.

Norris looked devastated after the race. And I can’t blame him. For a long time it was Charles who couldn’t convert his pole position. It would appear that curse has transferred to Lando. he didn’t seem too happy that Oscar went for that lap one overtake.

But honestly Lando doesn’t deserve to win the drivers championship. If the only way you can win is because your teammate regularly gifts you positions when you’re slower then you don’t deserve to be a champion.

Nothing better than the Italian anthem at the Monza podium ceremony!

Oscar has 110 pts in the last 6 races compared to Lando at 92 and Max 84.

In that same time:

McLaren 201
Ferrari 137
RBR 116

Next year is shaping up to be quite tasty.

Just finished rewatching the race.

Oscar is going to regret making that move on Lando to the second chicane. If Zak doesn't give him a serious talking to, McLaren is going to have bigger problems than they already have. That was millimeters from a double DNF. Not very smart from Oscar.

Lando got a decent start, but he really needs to be nailing them.

Brilliant stuff from Charles. I didn't think a one stop was in the cards, but he managed his tires extremely well. I suspect he has some left in the tank had Oscar caught up to him. I am positive that Lando would have caught up to him as evidenced by his fastest lap.

Lewis ahead of Max in the battle of the best of the rest is something I didn't think we'd see this year.

Really looking forward to the end of the season. Who knew that things would get this spicy??

Seema to me that if Piastri plays the start properly, from a team perspective, McLaren wins the race. With Leclerc also passing Norris, probably due to the near collision between the McLarens, they lose control of the race by have cars 1-2.
I think it's great to let them race, but not to the detriment of the team.i think Leclerc getting to P2 there changed the race.
Usually the fastest car wins. Definitely didn't happen yesterday

Italy GP Results are in...

Congrats to woob and dammage79...again...for taking top spot 2 weeks in a row! Both had 3 slotted and 8 Top 10 picks right. Fleuryisgod and bizaro86 were tied for 3rd with 2&9

Overall things are getting TIGHT! 3thirty still leads, but it shrunk to just 7pts over me. DoubleK remains just 1 back in 3rd and bizaro86 has closed to within 3pts of 2nd.

Mcree I think this was your first week of missed picks.

Next up is one of my personal favourite races...BAKUUUUUUUUU.

Spoiler!

AM needed that. Now they need to ditch Lance and put a proper driver in there

Papa Stroll has held no punches nor expense in trying to put his son into a winning car. He's not going to stop now.

How long until Fernando retires and Max takes his seat?

Interesting that he was willing to give up equity in the team to get Newey. That wouldn't have been on the table at Ferrari...

With Baku this weekend, let’s remember Mark Webber’s reaction to Lewis overshooting turn 1 in 2021.
