Charlie has now won all the big tourneys on the dirt. Incredible feat for someone so young.

French Open qualifying started earlier today and the Canadian women are off to a fine start as Carson Branstine, Marina Stakusic, and Bianca Andreescu all won their first round matches.

Victoria Mboko won her first qualifying match at the French Open earlier today. No such luck for Liam Draxl though as he loses in straight sets.

Really good match from Felix just now defeating Daniel Altmaier 6-3 6-3 in Hamburg avenging the loss from Monte-Carlo.

Yeesh, not a good day at the French Open as far as qualifying is concerned as Bianca, Marina, and Carson all lost their 2nd round qualifying matches. Victoria has yet to take to the court.

Rain in Paris has cancelled a bunch of matches for today including Victoria's match.

Happy Zverev Elimination Day Everyone!! This one stings a little more as it is in his hometown. Oh well.

Another good match from Felix today defeating GMP 6-2 6-4. 23 winners to only 12 unforced errors, that'll do quite nicely. He was slated to play the domestic abuser, but as you can see above, he lost to Alexandre Muller so it will be Felix vs. Muller on Thursday (weather permitting).

Was GMP's serve off today? I don't consider Felix a very good returner so kind of surprising that he won relatively easily.

GMP did not have a good serving day as conditions were cold and heavy. That said, Felix was having a good return day (actually, his return was also working yesterday) and the ground strokes overall have been on point in his two matches.

Muller played very well against Zverev thus Felix will have to continue his fine play this week if he hopes to make the semi-finals.

I said weather permitting above, but I wasn't aware that Hamburg does have a roof on their stadium court. Bweh and Darderi are currently playing under the roof with the Russian up a break in set 3. Felix and Muller will follow shortly (likely 15-29 minutes away).

It's a good thing they have a roof as you can hear how hard it is raining outside. Felix and Muller are underway.

Edit: Broadcasters are saying it's actually hail.

Felix takes the opening set in a tie-break (7-4 was the tie-breaker score). Playing well again today, not serving quite as well, but the ground strokes on both wings are looking good thus far.

Felix has let four match points come and go and now needs to play a third set. Have to give credit to Muller though, he came up with some excellent shots on those match points.

Well, it took 7 match points but Felix wins 7-6 6-7 6-3. Some fine tennis from Felix today and now he gets Rublev in the semi-finals.
