Yeah true. He was awesome too. Plus I like looking at his freaky blue eyes.

I didn't think they were that bad, but honestly - you were expecting Cal Ripken not to be going for Baltimore a little bit? He's only the most revered player in the history of the franchise.

Anyway, big thanks to Buck Showalter for choosing to leave his dominant, unhittable closer on the bench, and to bring in Captain Meatball to blow the game instead.

Maybe someone can start a "Why do baseball players celebrate like they just won the World Series" thread so it doesn't ruin the main threads? A little annoying we can't just let players celebrate and enjoy it.

He was just asking.

Let's just celebrate!

Arden Zwelling ‏@ArdenZwelling
Osuna says he felt "a stretch" in the front of his right shoulder during his second inning. Says Blue Jays doctor told him he'd be fine.

Sorry, I don't watch baseball so I asked a question. I didn't say it bothers me, just wanted to know if it was a sport wide thing or what.

I'll go start the "why do baseball players celebrate like they won the World Series" thread and you go start the "savemedrzaius tips for being a dink" thread.

Yeah that decision is hard to fathom. You play 11 innings and the guy never makes it onto the field. Meanwhile the heart of the Jays order beats you. Not a no name lightweight who hits a homer out of nowhere.

Wow.

5 and 2/3 innings without a hit to finish the game for the bullpen

Awesome job

That game right there is why baseball playoffs are the best playoffs of the big 4 by far. Something big can happen on every single pitch. Nothing gets me on the edge of my seat more in all of sports.

Though am sure that even though it's Toronto, the networks would love to show that opening game in prime time since it's the Rangers and the bad blood from last year and this.

From ESPN

Edwin Encarnación joins Aaron Boone (2003 ALCS, Yankees), Chris Chambliss (1976 ALCS, Yankees), and Bill Mazeroski ( 1960 World Series, Pirates) as the only players to hit a walk-off HR in a winner take all game.

Believe it's the opposite. 2:30 on Thursday and 11 on Friday if I heard correctly.

Can't blame ya. That would be a close second for me. Just find there's for more individual suspenseful moments in baseball. Love it.

I should totally buy Showalter a gift basket of some sort for not using Britton.

I just watched the Facebook live media interviews. Do EE and Zeke always speak through interpreters? (I never watch post game interviews or any post game coverage usually)
