Big win for the Rangers, I feel sick, was nervous the entire game, even up 7-3

Series tied, let's hope Texas takes the next two

yeah yeah I know you're a Rays fan.

Trust me, it's not as lonely as an existence as a Rangers fan. Tomorrow is the one month anniversary of the first time in 21 years I met another Rangers fan. Even in the post-season no one's on our bandwagon, heck last year EVERYONE wanted the Giants to win.

At the end of the day I have nothing against the Rays, they just happen to be playing the Rangers.

Wow. Epstein and Francona built that team into the powerhouse that it was/should be. It would be a tremendous loss to that organization to see them both go in one off season.

Boston is a team that relies on solid drafting and development which ultimately is Epsteins doing. Guys like Youkilis, Pedroia, Ellsbury, Buchholz, Lester, Papelbon all drafted under Epsteins watch. Big Papi was one of his first signings. Boston would be doing a lot of self inflicted harm if they did not hold on to Epstein.

Edit: My apologies Youkilis was drafted in '01.

I'll probably tune into the Cardinals/Phillies game tonight to see Carpenter and Lee go at it.

Bases loaded for Philly in the first, Carpenter is struggling early. edit: 3-0, ball hit Carpenter's leg and went into the outfield..

Ya it was unfortunate that that ball hit Carp's leg because it was an easy double play with the shift on. I also agree with the announcer, in that I have never seen Carpenter struggle so much finding his control. 4-0 Phils after 2 innings, tough to get 5 against Lee the way he's looking.

I read on Friday that this is Carpenter's first start on 3 days rest ever.

And he'll play on short rest again in Game 5 if they get there, against Halladay.

Wow Phillies blow a 3 run lead with Lee on the mound! Can't ask for a better playoffs so far!

Except who in their right mind schedules a playoff game at 2 pm local time on a tuesday afternoon. That is the Rays start time thanks to TBS and the MLB. Just ######ed that any team should have to play a playoff game in the daytime. There are only 8 teams total!!!!
