Tebow gets signed by the Patriots.

Ed Werder ‏@Edwerderespn 22m
Just filed to ESPN: The Patriots are signing QB Tim Tebow and expect him to be in minicamp tomorrow
Retweeted by Renaud Lavoie

I haven't followed Football too closely since Manning left the Colts but I thought Tebow was one of those Diamond in the Rough kind of players. Can he not be coached into being a great QB? Wasn't he amazing with the Florida Gators? didn't he have some good success on a bad Broncos team? Why has he fallen off the map so bad?

I find it weird this guy couldn't get a good shot at starting somewhere with his clutch play in Denver.

I've always been a Tebow fan. This is the only spot in the NFL where it could work for him (maybe Pittsburgh). Established QB, no controversy, and a coach that will know how and when to use him. I think Tebow can be a difference maker, just not at QB.

Apparently his throwing motion is fixed, according to some high profile QB coaches.

My money is still on him becoming a position player. I also wouldn't be surprised if Belicheck only did this to stick it to the Jets

Keep him, sell a bunch of jerseys to Tebow fans, cut him before the regular season and put him on the practice squad, still rich from jersey sales. Smart move really.

Because his clutch play only showed up for half a quarter.

The defense and the kicker were the clutch players for that team.

I'm quite surprised the Patriots would pick him up though. Must figure they can use him as a good gadget player.

I can't imagine why NE wants Tebow, other than to run short yardage plays, and tell Bill the Jets' playbook.

I wonder if Belichick is seeing the emergence of the QB option and wants to add that element?

With no guarantees, it is a low risk move for the Pats.

Jets have a new OC, Tebow woudn't have a clue what the offense is now. Some of the 'better' theories I've seen are Tebow will either a) not make the roster b) play TE/FB/Emergency QB + run Scout O when the Pats play a team with a mobile QB c) BB is installing a new offense and Tebow is there to distract everyone from that (I don't think that this one is likely...). No one knows what he will do except for the Patriots coaching staff

To me it makes perfect sense. He can play some tightend, run option plays, play special teams and be their third string QB. A highly versatile player on a cheap contract. Not surprised that it's the Patriots who pick him up / smart franchise.

Colts improve the RB position and sign Ahmad Bradshaw. Love this deal for Indy. 1,000+ yard rusher last year and 2 Superbowl rings with the Giants.

Bradshaw-Ballard 1-2 in the backfield, Luck at QB. Wayne as the #1 reciever. Hilton and Heyward-Bey (who I think will be a good #3 reciever), and Allen-Fleener having a year under their belt at TE. Offense looks good in Indy.

Lets hope Luck doesn't get the sophmore jinx. I was pumped at the signing of dradshaw. Pretty much the best RB Indy has had since Faulk.

Luck is too good a QB for that. He thinks the game too well. I think he will only get better with a year under his belt.

Bradshaw is a good RB. The problem with him is he's never healthy.
