Good old Sussex by the sea,
Good old Sussex by the sea
We're going up
To win the cup
For Sussex by the sea.
I know some of the current squad personally and they are generally a good lot. Plus they have Gus Poyet as the skipper - that alone ought to be enough for our resident Spurs junkies to climb on board!
I'm also partial to Dagenham & Redbridge, who are in the League 2 playoffs this upcoming Sunday against Rotherham. The Daggers won promotion from the Conference to League 2 at the end of the 2006-07 season. They finished 8th their first ever season in the Football League and made the playoffs this time round.
Swindon Town won promotion to the Premier League during the 1992-93 season, the only time the club has played in the top level of English football. Swindon was the second team to win promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs, beating Leicester City. This proved to be Swindon's only ever season in the top flight to date, in which they conceded 100 goals. However, based on all results during their time in the Premier League and Football League up to 2008/09, Swindon are ranked as the all-time 50th most successful English football club domestically.[2]
So far I like Tranmere more than these playoff bound guys. Or guys have have been in the first division/premier league before. Tranmere nearly got relegated! I like that suckiness.
Rovers sounds cool too.

That a girl!
The suckiness grows on you! They give you moments of great joy too at times. They're a fantastic little team to follow.
That's 3.
Yours truly, Locke, and GirlySports. Lot's of room on the CP Rovers bandwagon still...........
I also like the fact that Tranmere hired legend John Barnes as manager and after about 10 games discovered he didn't have a clue and fired him. Probably saved them from relegation.

Absolutely fantastic playoff final. You would have a difficult time finding a more exciting football match in any league. The Premier League would do well to take notice - the Football League is brilliant.
Promoted to the Football League 4 years ago and now in the 3rd division of English football. Congrats Daggers!

all of the playoff games this season have been brilliant
God, I hope Marcelo Bielsa stays with Chile and doesn't go to Inter or anywhere else. His style is all about attacking and taking chances, and although Inter has infinitely more talent there is a strategic disconnect there.
If the player requests to leave. Cant force a guy to play against his will. If Fabregas wants to leave, no sense in keeping him around.
Well from his presser, he made no indication that he's asked to leave. It's all just speculation at this point. He's said it's in Arsene's hands, so let it stay there.
And if Barcelona wants him, they should maybe make an official offer or something like that, no?
It's my understanding that Cesc has admitted he has a desire to go back to Barca, I think it is definitely true but the difference being I think he actually has a level head, I don't see him going against Wenger, its not in his character. I venture as long as Wenger makes some effort to bolster up the team a bit then Cesc stays for a year or two more but I can't see him fulfilling the contract in whole. And damn for $30 mill what a rip, bump that to $50 mill perhaps.
