Back on topic... I can only speak of Toronto itself, but my time here so far has been enjoyable. People are about as friendly as they are in Calgary, there are a ton of restaurant options, the weather has been decent and I haven't even been bothered too much by the air quality.

I hope the job works out for you!

The only get togethers were back in '04. Usually wait until the playoffs to get off our lazy butts.

Wayne Gretzky's downtown. I've watched many a Flames game there, and they're happy to play them. It's more like a general hockey establishment there anyways, so people are pretty lenient towards other games being played.
