Yup, absolutely true. A few years ago, I was doing an essay for a book of William Shatner artwork, and I opened it by talking about that moment where the view screen ends up being a door.

Bear with me, as this is my first crack at embedding video. The first 5:34 are hilarious, especilly from the 2:00 minute mark:

You're making it way more complicated than it needs to be. Try {youtube}o0slPLIYJyM{/youtube}, only with square rather than curly brackets:

My favorite scene is definitely from Superbad. "Dude, what's that on your leg? Is that blood?" I can't stop laughing for 5 minutes after watching that scene.

One that comes to mind for me is the puke scene from Team America. I don't think I've ever laughed as hard in a theatre in my life. But at the same time, I wouldn't even say that I liked that scene, and I don't particularly want to see it again (hence why I'm not looking for a youtube clip to post). I almost feel violated by that scene; I was a completely unwilling laugher.
My favorite funny scene is the final shootout from Hot Fuzz.

The scene in Borat when he's at the bed and breakfast and they think the owners have transformed into cockroaches.

Blues Brothers, Monty Python, or Planes, Trains, and Automobiles are all excellent choices, but I think something with Richard Pryor has to be near the top of the list. While this isn't my favorite scene from Silver Streak, its a pretty good one. I prefer the times that Pryor says "I'm a thief!" to identify himself, but couldn't find a clip of that.

Blazing Saddles is the funniest - and most politically incorrect - movie ever!
