A man's got to know his limitations.

And mine is that I need ketchup but I will take Arby's Sauce if given the choice.

Yeah people are often horrified when they overhear you order a burger and tell the cook to slap a fried egg on that bad boy - until they try it themselves that is.

Hmmm...I may have to recant that rant if it turns out there is a technical jargon here I didn't know about.

Indeed. The easiest way to find youself in the 22 year old manager's doghouse is to not use the correct lingo. Tops are crowns, bottoms are heels, the sign outside is the golden arches. And the manager is a lifer.

Try Kraft Burger Sauce - it's pretty good, but you cant find it at all grocery stores. For the Fried egg folk, how long do you fry it for - is the yolk left quite runny?

True hot Dog enthusiasts never let ketchup on their dogs, Mustard & Relish FTW. Fries and Burgers though is quite acceptable for ketchup.

I dont make two burgers the same hardly... I always make my own patties though, store bought patties and all fast food burgers suck in comparison.

(package of ground beef, 1 egg, cup of Quaker oats, diced onion and cayenne peeper to taste, mix the hell out of it freeze on cookie sheet and then zip lock baggy for handy burger baggy)

My burger toppings vary greatly, my only hard and fast rule is the lettuce is never directly against the bun (thats what mayo and mustard is for) or under the patty (it is too slippery to hold patty in place. Ketchup is for kids, only exception is the tobasco flavored katsup, but even then - meh

couple days ago my burger looked like this:

Top
Mayo
Mustard
sliced Red Bell pepper
Alf alfa sprouts
Tabasco sauce
Cheese
home made patty
BBQ sauce
bun

When I put a fried egg on its this:
Top
peanutbutter
tobasco
Egg
Patty
BBQ sauce
salsa
Bun

AGREED!

Ditto for steak too. I cringe when I see someone slavering ketchup on a good steak. SACRILEGE!!!

P.S. They don't call a hot dog "TUBE STEAK" for nothing.

Oh, and the catsup I use is Heinz Kickers that has some Tabasco mixed in. Nice little bite!
