Been single for about a year and a half, kind of enjoyed it for a while, but I've been looking to get back into things lately...no current prospects, which is kind of frustrating/depressing. Oh well, things could be worse.

After being in two 3 year relationships I have been (mostly) happily single for about 2 and three quarter years now.
I'm about ready to get back in the game but I feel like I've been a bench warmer for so long I may have lost a step.

Married 18 years. (That seems insane to me even!)
 4 kids (Boy: 10, Boy: 5, Girl: 4, Girl: 10 months)

Crap this makes me seem old but I don't FEEL old!

Busy? Yep, that would be me......

BTW, kudos to redforever. 39 years deserves a huge round of applause!!!!

			I'm single.
It sucks. Just me, my mansion, grotto, and harem of incredibly hot, sex-starved female play mates. Sigh.

Can eharmony actually reject you? Is that a stupid question?

Oh yeah. I've heard it is a Christian site too but I can't say for sure because I don't use the internet to date.

I think eharmony just lost a lawsuit because their site wasn't gay friendly. Seems a little weird to me that a site for matching straight people can be forced to include gays, and I'm pretty liberal when it comes to equality and gay rights.

Anyhow, I'm 21 and in a relationship of just over a year. I live with my girlfriend and her cat. It's going good but I seem to be looking back on my single life with a fondness that's probably unhealthy. I had so much more fun when I was single.

I'm single, and am probably gonna stay that way: I'll go out with a woman and already before half an hour has passed I've imagined our future together and mentally broken up with her because it just didn't work.
She is always too young or old; dumb or smart; messy or finicky; emotional or repressed; crazy or boring; etc etc. And of course I KNOW it's actually me at fault, but it's like there's an evil little man inside my brain who is constantly mucking with the wiring.

To be totally honest, I get more than my share, so I shouldn't whine. It's great to be married.

I had heard that, actually, that they were a religious type of site.

That's kind of sad. You'd think people are using the site as a last resort type situation, so to get rejected, that must be quite the blow.

I've always assumed this as well but apparently some people see it as just another avenue of meeting people. They see the internet as just one more way to converse with new people. Sort of like how we use CP except to meet people you want to date instead of talking about the Flames and stuff.
