When this show is over, episodes like the one last night, the episode in Vegas, in Cannes, at Sundance, the filming of medellin and "the bet" will stand out as some of the better ones in the show's overall run BECAUSE they were different from the rest.

I guess I just wanted to see what was going to happen with Smoke Jumpers after being left with a cliffhanger on the last show. Was expecting E to at least call his writers, not hang with Vince and let him decide which movie to do as if he was actually given the option... just didn't seem 'normal'.

Pretty good episode, most of it was alright. But it started and ended with me laughing my ass off.

That was good, just would like to see Vince start succeeding again; kind of played out his struggle enough at this point I think.

Yeah, I'd like to see Vince rolling in the cash again and blowing it on crap he doesn't need.
I'm just happy that this whole Dom thing was a one and done kind of thing.

Agreed. I want to see more girls and lavish life, so I can live vicariously through the show again.

It makes Ari's stuff more interesting when Vince isnt doing very well which makes the show good, because you cant go wrong with more Ari screen time. But I agree that they should probably move on and the (Spoiler, highlight) death of Alan might allow that to happen as sad as it is.

Is it though? I hope so too, as I hate the Dom character. But I recall reading back in the summer that Ellin was originally planning on making Dom a regular fixture on the show, and after the audience hated the character and he had to pull him, its been Ellin's mission to figure out a way to work Dom back into it. With a huge sentence I'd assume that's it with him as well, but after reading that in the summer and now seeing him surprisingly appear this week, I'm not entirely convinced he's gone for good.
Good episode tonight. I'm actually enjoying seeing Vince still down, as the character kind of annoyed me the first 3 seasons, I think this helps round him out. But I agree that at some point this year I want to see him get back on top again. I'm sure its coming.

Solid episode. I thought Drama was annoying for the first time (I know others have in the past). Ari keeps the show entertaining IMO. Maybe they should cancel Entourage and build a show around him dealing with various clients. That would be more entertaining. None of the "Entourage" are that great of characters, although Drama is funny most of the time.
I like the fact that Vince is struggling. I think him struggling and rebuilding his career on TV or something would be much more interesting than him just being on the top.

Can't believe no-one's talked about tonight's episode in this thread, I thought that was definitely one of their better ones. Love the hooks starting to develop this season, they're definitely answered the call to change things up.

Wow, that offer was totally out of left field. Vince is slowly getting back into the game/lifestyle and Ari showing emotion again! Loving it.

Ya really liked the new episode. Some good story development in there. I think Ari will try to go, but his agency will give him a really tough offer to refuse

Isn't Ari partner with Gold? How would Ari give himself an offer he can't refuse?

I think Ari is mistaken and they want something else from him and now he has to try and save face by playing it up like he didn't want the job after all.
This of course will drive a wedge between him and Vince as Vince now thinks he's getting smoke jumpers.
It was interesting to have them reference an actual project in the works with the Hobbit.

Last night's episode was one of the funnier episodes I've seen in awhile.
I think the offer to Ari is too good to be true, and they want something else from him. And doesn't look like Vince/Eric are too happy that their agent is moving to a studio head.
Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

Agree with the too good to be true bit.
Great twist to livin up the show though. The rest of the season should really take off now. This plot line will be a nice move off of the Vince not getting any work line.

I almost fell off the couch I was laughing so hard at that line. Ari is the best character on TV.
