Whats a cell phone bill?

I honestly haven't had a cell bill for over 4 years now.
So you could be right however, when they started those services they were not charging so it could have changed, or maybe Telus has plans to change that so people can't text bully people through that online service.
If not they could have some major issues and I would not want to be someone working in a call centre for a month of August and September!

Yes it will be a rough ride for Telus/Bell for the first few months however all will be forgotten once some new policy comes out that people will want to complain about and this whole situation will be put on the back burner. Also you don't need "unlimited" text messaging bundle to avoid the charges, you just need a text bundle.
It may be bad business in your eyes however once Bell/Telus pulls in there billions of dollars in profits I don't think too many people from a business standpoint would complain about that if it were their business.
I think we can agree to disagree on this topic because I think its pretty clear we are not going to change each others minds on this.

I have heard rumblings of this and I think it is to align themselves with Telus/Rogers for their CDP/VM feature prices also probably to push people to their bundles.

Yes you would have to pay for those however their will be a system in place were you can block a single number from texting you and once you do so it will deduct that charge for that single text message. Will this system actually be put into place? I have no confirmation for sure or when it will happen.
