well, that's tough. unfortunate, our chances of ever qualifying seem so abysmal.

Not much to say about Saturday's game, another heartbreaker for Canadian soccer fans. Heading up to Edmonton tomorrow for the game, with nothing but pride on the line hopefully it'll be a decent game. Hopefully there's some good chants and banners pushing for Dale Mitchell's firing, what an effing clown.. hopefully the crowd's pro-Canada too, although that's not usually a problem in Edmonton like in TO and Montreal...

I highly doubt that from what I'm hearing there should be a decent amount of Canadian fans including a bunch of youth teams, but even if that's not the case 5:1 a hell of a lot better than Montreal.

2-2, not too shabby. Maybe every game should be "for pride".

Pretty good game, the "foul" that led to Mexico's first goal was complete BS though, even Sven admitted it afterwards. Pretty poor crowd of 14 thousand and some but it was a cold Wednesday night in a game that meant nothing so I guess that's expected.. split about half between Mexico and Canadian supporters. Sad to see Radzinski's probable last game for us but he had a great one and came over to the Voyageurs section at the end and threw his jersey into the group, as did a couple others.. also left the game wearing a Sack the CSA t-shirt.. class act, easily the best offensive player Canada has produced in the last 20 years and will probably remain so for a long while.. great game by Hirschfield in net too in his hometown, if only we had him in net for the Jamaica game...
