Harrison goes beyond what normal teams have in terms of violence and trying to hurt people. He is not one of the dirtiest guys in the league now but of all time.

I am not the best judge given my hatred of the Pats but if super homer Bill Simmons is calling out Harrison then I think he might have crossed the line:

but Harrison disgraced the franchise with his HGH suspension and slightly tainted a few of this season's games with cheap shots, late hits, dumb penalties and generally irrational behavior. For Pats fans, he's like dealing with a family member who says and does dumb things at every holiday dinner -- maybe you don't hold those things against him because he's family, but you always find yourself complaining about him when he's not in the room.

I hear ya, moon. I was asking that particular poster why he was a "worst human". I assumed he'd give me something like he snacked on babies in the off season or tortured puppies or something.

What is your point? If no one in the NFL trained much in the off season, then it really doesn't play as a factor now, did it?

I think Bill Romanowski is the dirtiest player of all time... Harrison is definitely in the conversation though. As dirty as he is, I think I remember the stat coming across the screen during the Jacksonville-Pats game that Harrison had an interception in 6 straight playoff games. That's crazy.

The worst human being comment is basically because he is SO dirty, is unapologetic about it AND he was caught cheating with HGH. Not someone I'd want kids looking up to. No, he probably doesn't snack on babies, but if he wore any of the other 31 teams colours, you may not be so sensational about it and just say ya, he's a dirty player and a cheater.

Romo is up there as well, but over an entire career we have seen more out of Harrison.

In fact if it weren't for the spitting thing he may not rank as one of the dirtiest of all time.

Until Harrison punches out a rookie team mate ending his career, Romanowski is the undisputed king of dirty players, remember that he not only used steroids but he sold them as well.

Oh yea, forgot that stuff. well there have been a million training camp fights, Vince Young started one this year, but ya the dealing of roids is brutal.

He did not. he punched him.

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...01/27/ROMO.TMP

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2008222

Also, he didn't end his career, he got cut, and was training camp meat to begin with.

Doesn't make him a nice guy, but what you say and what is factual are two completely different things.

Was it steroids? I thought it was some sort of illegal diet pill that he and his wife were pushing.

Well that's what Bill says, If I recall right he is or was being investigated for dealing roids.

I know he is or was part of the Balco investigation. Wasn't surprised since he was still competing at such an advanced age. Read a real interesting article about his daily routine near the end of his career. One thing I found interesting was that he would send a stool sample away to get analyzed to see what nutrients he was lacking. That is also a way athletes test to see if the illegal supplements they are taking can be traced or detected.

Ya I remember that.

At first I thought how this guy is particular about his nutrients, then a minute later thought duh, he's testing to see if he would get caught.

He's gloating? Sounds more like he's defending his team. Or at least a team he likes.

You wanna talk about gloating, how about we discuss the 72 Dolphins showing up at every game that the last undefeated team loses, to cheers and drink champagne.

And you're questioning the classiness of the PAtriots?

And that's really good that you support your team. Most of us are flames fans here and we all know what it's like to have an influx of bandwagoners. I've been a Flames fan since 88. WAs I a bandwagoner for following them then? I was 10. I suppose I could've picked another team...
What do you expect? That a team picks up fans while they suck? Am I a bandwagoner because I started liking the Pats after Brady set the record for youngest QB to win the big one?

Dude, your pouting doesn't become you. Just accept the fact that if and when the Pats finish this thing off, they'll eclipse the 72 legacy.
In 35 years, if the ot-seven pats are still hanging out in private boxes and on sidelines with champagne, you can say that you told me so.

LOL...

Seriously though, Willie Nelson and Tom Petty should put on a decent show.

Why does God hate me? Seriously?!! Leave it to Fox to make the Super Bowl gay.

This is the first time I've ever been excited for the Superbowl. Probably because I will be watching it somewhere between Ft Lauderdale and Puerto Rico.
