Nice dig. Perhaps I really am just voluptuous?

You might be, but who cares. There are all sorts of men out there who like different body types. Nobody is saying voluptous is wrong. We all like different things, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Indeed it is. A damned shame in fact, because as you said, we miss out on a lot of great women that way. Unfortunately for us all, the human ego is a fragile thing, and men aren't immune from aforementioned discrepency.
I remember reading a poll saying that a vast majority of women found they were attracted to men who were "in shape," but not the "body builder" kind of in shape. How vague is that?
So what kind of "in shape" are we dealing with, here? Are we talking Ryan Reynolds in Blade: Trinity kind of in shape? Or are we talking Pierce Brosnan in James Bond: Goldeneye kind of in shape?

Not at all, I was commenting on that you've admitted to liking sticks, so why would you click on curvy anyway? You had no relevance to the question I asked originally, yet you responded. It smacks of self-importance. In addition, in that response, you said 'it might be considered shallow', so I was just poking fun at you.
There's more to a person's looks than their body. There are a lot of ugly sticks out there, and a lot of beautiful voluptuous women. I'd like to say that the fact that you wouldn't date me because I'm not a stick is sad, when I have a lot of fantastic qualities, but really, it's probably better for me that way. I wouldn't want to waste my time.

Think Greek statue, in shape.
I've heard alot of girls are more wanting a swimmers body now a days. Although in reality, it all comes down to the person.
I believe we are all "brainwashed" into finding a select type of person attractive from a very young age and we stick with it.

You don't need a six pack but you can't have a keg either. A little pillow is fine. Alas, I've never seen Blade: Trinity so I can't comment on that. We just want to make sure that violent sex won't give you a heart attack.

of course there is more to a woman than her body, but you have to start somewhere. You can't spend months with every girl out there trying to find their inner soul. No, you pick the ones you are attracted to from the start, and go from there.
And you are right, chances are you and me wouldnt work out. You WOULD be wasting your time. There's a reason it's not easy to find a match...there are a lot of qualities people consider in a mate. Just because I wouldnt see them in you, doesnt mind that I am shallow or you are a horrible person. It takes the right person to click.

Again, it's not you.
Women who genuinely are curvy or voluptuous are considered attractive by a large number of men. The problem is that there's so many insecure fat women on dating sites who don't want to check the appropriate box that most accurately describes their body type, so they select the "curvy" option instread. This in turn has resulted in men who are looking for an actual curvy girl being inundated with results of overweight women.
If your fellow females were more honest about their body types up front, then the men on dating sites wouldn't filter out "curvy". It's an unfortunate truth that "curvy" is being used a euphemism for "fat" more often than not.

The problem is that if I hit average, men looking for a size 8 think i'm a liar. I don't want to lie. Perhaps I'll say "fit" and my tagline should be "fit to f^ck that is!"

Are you kidding me? I'd hit it, brag about it, post pics on the net and sell the video. Hell, it might even help her career out a little....

Dude, I was totally lying to make myself look like a nice guy, which is a lie too.
In fact everything that I tell you, including this sentence is a lie.

So you're saying you'd pass me by because I clicked off curvy? You're missing a lot of good women that way.

Then in a way using that particular filter statistically speaking creates false negatives (the people who actually are honest). There's always those who slip between the cracks (Unfortunate but reality). Whenever generalizations are made a straw man arguement exists when and where statistical outliers are found. When making choices of search results in the hundreds things like perception bias must be taken into consideration. If I took the time to evaluate every submission to find out if a person was really 'curvy and attractive' and not 'fat and disguisting but using that word as a ephanism' it would defeat the purpose of filtering by criteria. The subjectivity of such terms ruins descriptive words (Which was the point of my arguement). I'm sure if you found the term 'voluptuous' as a descriptor on one of those sites there would be plenty of physically unappealing people who are not 'conventionally attractive' using that to describe themselves dishonestly, thus spreading that negative connotation.
