C350 4matic starts $50,200 i think was $53,600 for 07 with less stuff
C300 4matic starts $44,600 i think was $46,100 for 07 with less stuff

Likely not too much discount on the front end. we are already getting a ton of orders before the car even arrives. That is the problem with MB's the front end demand of a new model is huge...I am giving most people 3%..

Who do you want to "wow"? Highschool girls? Your buddies who work at the mall? The ricer club? Car enthusiasts?

Set the search criteria on autotrader for your price range and browse thru all the cars and see what catches your eye. Buy a car that "wows" you and youll be happy. Listening to other people might end you up with a cars others love but that youre so so about.

Good point. That's what I did. Went to a whole bunch of different websites to look at each brand's sports car and found the one I liked the look of the most. Not a car I ever hear anyone talk about, but I'm really happy with it myself. I know it gets a lot of looks, I see them looking, but honestly could care less. I've had a lot of fun learning more about sports cars since I have my own now, it makes it more interesting to see what else it out there and what people are doing to them.

It's certainly not up there in the class of some of those mentioned in this topic, but my overall experience driving the car has been pretty awesome.

I say get the G35. I really like the 2003/4 6speed coupes and they run about $30 000-35000.
IMO, they look better then the newer designed coupes which don't look as smooth to me and lost the spoiler IIRC. Plus those will be more money too and maybe out of your range.

Lexus and Acura would be the best from a reliability and resale standpoint.

BMW's are brutal vehicles from a value standpoint at the 300 level, the 500's are a little better. I'd take a look at the TL before you right that off, will be faster than most other cars you will test, have as many options if not more and will resell much better.

Agree with the Infiniti recomendation, they are very similar to the TL.

i'm definitely going to be getting a new Challenger when it's in it's 2nd or 3rd production year (never buy a first year production vehicle). the look of the concept is completely awesome, and helps make up for the disgrade Dodge did to the Charger name

Ah, the joys of owning a black car. My choices came down to either your car or the Altima 3.5SE. If it weren't for the G35 toys in the Altima, I would have gone with yours I think.

Bruce, I've never been in one of those cars. What kind of special 'toys' do they have?

Black is awesome when it's clean, which is about 2 hours a week.

It's surprising how fast black gets dirty and how long white stays clean when it comes to cars

Push start ignition for one, dual automatic climate control (I know the GT-P has a single automatic climate control), and blue tooth were a few options I really wanted.

Yeah, black is tough to take care of, but it is very rewarding. Especially when clean, it shines like glass. My altima is black as well in case you're wondering.

I dont know how many Alfas you have there, but the design of those things really makes your head turn. And they are a joy to drive too. And once you buy your first alfa, there's no coming back.
