it was never confirmed, Buff. this one kinda went way of the Doe Doe Bird!
I can still put a group package together but people need to be prepared to make the investment.
I will be heading down in November for my annual November trip to Las Vegas along with wife and friends.

Man i just got back from Vegas on Tuesday.

2 awesome pointers I'll give you guys.

1. Don't go in the summer, it was like flipping 47c. It was like taking a blow dryer to your body everytime you stepped out.

2. Don't play craps on July 7, 2007. 7/7/07. hehe It was ugly.

I've got family who go once a year and sometimes twice per year. They can vouch for the summertime heat. I went at the end of March/beginning of April and it was already warm enough then.

As for your second point, I think it is largely safe to assume that nobody will be playing craps on 7/7/07 anymore.

I generally would adhere to the theory of not going in the summer, but my brother was going in August with his wife to celbrate their anniversarry so my wife and I decided to join them. Oh well, it's Vegas, how often are you outside when you're not walking between Casino's anyways. They have Airconditioning there, sure they burn up enough power in a day to power Pakistan for a decade to do so and have made the Colorado river into a tiny little creek. Just have to make sure I don't do something dumb like book a tee time at 1:00 in the afternoon, and try to walk the course.
