I have a problem with that game.
Every time I make a choice on the issue, it always changes to something else besides the choice I make. I pick no gun control, then click on issues again and the stupid thing is on "yes for gun control."
Help?

Have you tried picking the opposite of what you want? That might work? Otherwise I'd e-mail the website and tell them what's happening.
For the record I'm checking the site everyday, and have 2 isses a day. I don't like how cut and dry it is (especially with my public admin background) I'd prefer to come up with my own solutions, but obviously that'd be too difficult to control.

The People's Republic of Evmanistan is a huge, safe nation, notable for its strong anti-business politics. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 231 million enjoy extensive civil freedoms, particularly in social issues, while business tends to be more regulated.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Social Welfare, although Education and Healthcare are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 61%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Book Publishing.
Corporations donate huge sums of money to favored politicians, euthanasia is legal, voting has become a nightmare since everyone keeps selecting "None of the above", and X-Files ratings have hit an all-time low. Crime is well under control. Evmanistan's national animal is the elk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the atheic.
Evmanistan is ranked 24th in the region and 76,171st in the world for Largest Manufacturing Sector.

I started late but I'm still doing it.
UN Category: Inoffensive Centrist Democracy
Civil Rights: Some
Economy: Very Strong
Political Freedoms: Average
The People's Republic of Empty Beer Bottles is a huge, economically powerful nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 201 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Defence, although Education and Law & Order are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 44%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Woodchip Exports and Arms Manufacturing.
The nation has an international reputation for compassion, all writing must pass a censorship board before being allowed on the shelves, retirement homes are often fitted with luxurious suites, and referenda can be called for any law at the request of at least one third of the voting population. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Empty Beer Bottles's national animal is the Bearded Yak and its currency is the Bottle Cap.
Empty Beer Bottles is ranked 13th in the region and 46,429th in the world for Largest Manufacturing Sector.

I just want to be able to see how the options shape my country. It's something to do, to kill 30 seconds of a day. If you want to keep playing feel free to join

I'm not sure if you're ######ed or not, but this was a takeover...we've been kicking and banning left and right for the past week or so. No one said anything and we'll soon have the area password protected.

is the telegram that I got. So someone's got too much time on their hands, and want to take over the region - - I guess it's the cool thing to do on a summer afternoon?

Hey kids, no hard feelings. Just another friendly addition of the Battle of Alberta. (Guess who won)
Anyway, if anyone is interested in learning how to invade drop 'Hurtin Bleeding Hearts' a telegram. Trust me, it's more fun to be on the
otherside. Incidentally, you'll still be able to build your nation while invading.

You guys need to "endorse" a leader. Right now, its Q-Scout.
So go to his profile in your region and click "add your endorsement", if everyone in the region does this, they need a hell of a lot more people to ake over leadership.

If any of us cared about the game then I could see you nerds wasting time on taking over and kicking us all out. But, we don't.

the thing is you can't directly interact with other countries, so you basically get in a region of friends and alike and see how you do in comparision based on your variying decisions. I much prefer to see where I rank in terms of employment or happiness compared to other CPers than with everyone as a whole.
It's just annoying, nothing more. The new region surves the exact same purpose
