IIRC Peters puts 1 1/2 patties on their burgers, and they tasted like they were boiled in a cardboard stew. I've witnessed the grease soaking through the paper bag that Burger Inn comes in so I would assume more grease=better burger.

All this burger talk is making me hungry.Mmmmm egg whites for breakfast followed by a protein shake yaaaaay

Never tried Boogies so I have to give them a go. I find that Fat burger, Burger Inn and Peters burgers are all over rated. I do enjoy Peters more then the others though.

Peter's milkshakes are unbelievable. I get the chocolate-raspberry combination, and it's a slice from heaven.

Boogie's burger is quite good. I don't recommend the mushroom burger though - I find mushrooms in general just don't work in burgers as a topping.

Count me in for Burger Inn!
However I just tried the fabled Rocky's Burger Bus for the First time today.
I must say it's just like home. Home made patties about an inch thick, great fries, and a coke for Six bucks.

Great Burger.

Neither, both are nasty. I refuse to eat that crap...
Burgers should ONLY be cooked on a BBQ, end.

Not boiled, broiled, nuked, fried or deep fried.

I would agree with that. Peter's doesn't rate too high on my list

The thing about Peter's...is that it DOESN'T taste good, but is still ENJOYABLE. How, I don't know. I guess it's the whole "experience" thing.

Burger Inn is damn good. Sure, there may be better around, but that is what a burger and fries should taste like. Oh, and a $15 burger intrigues me. Hell, I love my burgers. I would be the guy who orders the $70+ truffle burger if it is on the menu.

Where on Blackfoot Tr does that bus park? I must try it as I prefer to drive down Blackfoot rather than Macleod Tr whenever possible.

If you're going South in Blackfoot, take a left (east) just after Shaw GMC. Drive to just before the next stop and it's on you''re left.

Peters for me right now... but wait til I try burger Inn... I might think that's better...

I've only been to Peter's like 4 times since I've been in Calgary (8 years now) and 3 of the times were this year alone...
