I figured round 2 would have the canadiens and leafs against each other, pretty happy it worked out. I’ll be honest I find the Canadiens fans filling up the dome far more annoying than when the leafs fan do it. Tough call.

That was a tough one for me too, but watching Vegas have immediate and prolonged success pisses me off.

The fact that the Leafs and Oilers likely meet up in the next bracket does make we want to puke.

Then one of the Rangers, Knights, Ducks, or Canadiens as the 4th. I hate the Rangers enough that they'd be my number 2. But I'm probably the only person on the site who hates them this much. I mean it should be Vancouver...but strangely it's not.

They make my final 8, but as much as I'm annoyed about the 2004 series...Kerry Fraser and the Leagues horrid replay reviews get more of my disdain then the Lightning do.

Honestly...I don't like the Panthers...to me they're the MAGA of hockey. But because they beat the Oilers in the Cup Finals twice...they get my respect. Big Reason why I voted for the Islanders over the Flyers. At least the Islanders denied the Oilers a cup...although..they might have contributed to them eventually winning. If only they could have pretended to party it up for like two hours.

While I don't want Edmonton or Vancouver to cease to exist as a franchise, I do wish that the Tampa Bay Lightning would cease to exist!

I think I actually hate the Canadiens more than the Leafs because Hab fans are Oileresque in their optimistic delusion, whereas Leaf fans tend to be rightfully more negative.

I have really mixed feelings about Ottawa as a city. I lived there for a few years, my wife is originally from there, and most of my in-laws live there. There are some things I really like about the city, but I also had some really bad personal experiences there some of which or related to the city at it's core. It's a very corrupt city, I'll just leave it as that.

As for the team itself, the Senators are just so inconsequential to me. No big rivalries with anyone. They have never done anything noteworthy and their branding is boring.

Yeah, I never really hated TB for 2004. It's not like I expected them to all gather at centre ice and say "yeah, that was in, we lose".

Though the MSL trip later on and then MSL's general attitude on Olympic selection made me dislike him.
