Honestly, I would like Sutter to try Huberdeau with Kadri and Toffoli. I am just not sure if that would waste Lindholm with Mangiapane and Dube.

Pretty straight-forward why Phillips isn't dressing. He and Zohorna were in last game. Lindholm is back, so one of them comes out. And Zohorna did more than Phillips. Also, they need Zohorna to play C while Lewis has a sore hand.
No one is hating on Phillips, and I bet he is back in as early as next game.
For me, the real news is that Lucic is sitting for the 3rd straight game.

National broadcast negotiated rules say games on Wed in Canada can't have another home Canadian game (regional) start until after that national one is done.
Not sure why the extra 15mins tonight but if they had some planned ceremony for the early one started later, and then the potential of OT, Flames game can't start regionally until after.

Yup, and I don't think he's done (or been available) for any ”on the record interviews” in that time so it's probably a bit of a tense situation for a vet to sit.
No goals, his buds left (JG and SM), he's getting ridden by the coach, etc.
Not quite probably like the Peters situation where he thought about quitting just yet, but...

Not seeing Matthew drawing in the lineup after Calgary scoring so little is disappointing.
Let’s hope they can snap out of their scoring woes against the Nuckleheads tonight.
