I had my ulna artery and ulna nerve severed, and the nerve took 25 years to grow back (from mid-forearm), though it never fully grew back, and I still have significant nerve damage in my hand. Would have been career-ending, were I a pro athlete.

Kane's biggest concern is likely tendon damage - still terrible, but a better mend than nerve damage.

There are two nerves to consider with his injury.

The radial superficial branch nerve(likely damaged) runs right along side the radial artery, it's superficial in that it only supply's sensory information to the forearm/hand. Likely it will take a lot longer than 3-4 months to not have numbness/tingling but the wrist/hand will still work.

The radial deep branch nerve(not likely damaged) runs between the muscles, if this gets damaged it could end a career as it stimulates the muscles that controls your wrist/hand and fingers and can take years to recover if at all.

Really? I'm actually surprised it got deleted, didn't think it was that bad. Just called a spade a spade. Would have spurred more conversation (and less thanks) if it was that terrible
