Lucic played the fourth-most out of anybody at 5v5. Coleman less than 11 minutes in all situations and you wonder why he's not scoring.

Hard to follow a lot of the coaching decisions with the forwards right now. Just not making much sense.

I would like to see Zary get a look.

Huberdeau passes are way too hard for the other players to receive and right now he's playing the opposite of Gretzky - he's not skating to where the puck is going to be and using hockey IQ.

Coaching is unfortunately holding this team back along with poor efforts.

How about we go back to lines that worked in the first 6 or 7 games and let Huberdeau - Lindholm - Toffoli figure it out

Dube can’t handle top 6 consistently

Mangi has been terrible since the hot first half of last year

Toffoli was horrific tonight

No wonder Lucic got all the ice time. At least he tried

Lindholm needs someone to carry him. He can’t carry a line

It's a slump. Hope for the best against the Devils then hope they break out of it on the road. Enough crossbar already.

I think that while it's undeniable the effort has been lacking the last few games, we need to be patient. With the turnover from last year at key positions, it's going to take at least a couple of months for everything to settle. There are players who are now playing a much more details-oriented game than ever before, they will figure it out and be just fine. It's a testament to our team that we able to go 5-2 in the first place.

If they do anything, please be Zary.

the group really needs to pull it together in spite of their coach rather than letting him beat them down with all this 4th line grinder ice time . I don't think they are having fun the way he has set things up .. have to win to get their proper lines back because the rancher is stubborn as ****

Dube and Mangiapane both looked very good with Kadri before the blender came out a couple games ago.

Hard not to be disappointed by Huby and Weegar so far.
I think Weegar should be getting Hanafin’s powerplay time. I think Weegar has more offensive upside than Hanafin.

Though I think it's absolutely insane how quickly people have decided that "The Rancher" is a stubborn fool, considering the enormous positive impact he's clearly had on this team over the last two years.

Three bad games and suddenly Sutter is a problem? Morons who have no perspective say those kind of things.

I know people are desperate to get on the road so the boys can have some team bonding, but I don’t necessarily buy it. Some questionable coaching decisions tonight was the reason for this loss. Also maybe elevated expectations are putting too much pressure on the group. Regardless, I would say this is more of a line combo dilemma and player minute utilization than being stuck at the dome.

Nobody is perfect. I think it's fair to criticize some odd decisions he has made the last couple games. I don't see anyone calling him a bad coach.

Ah, ok.

'They've looked horrible for a long time'

'No, they were very good to start the year'

'Yeah but that was because of someone else'

Good stuff.

It's always going to be patchwork when you don't have a #1 C or a #1 Dman. There might be some years better than others, but in essence you're already starting from a weak position each year. The division has McDavid Eichel, and now Beniers- that is tough to overcome on a yearly basis
