It's really too bad we won't get to properly celebrate one of the biggest playoff gaffes of all time. It'll just be the horrendous 160 foot goal in a game that the Oilers put the Flames on the brink.

If any team is gonna come back from 2-down, it’s the Flames. If any team is going to let a team come back from 2-down, it’s the Oilers.

Flames deserved a better result tonight. On to game 5!

Marky honestly played the best he has this series after the first period. The team looked better tonight but it still wasn’t good enough. I think this series is sadly over next game

Flames have never won a series down 3-1. This is the darkest timeline.

Mcdavid had one secondary assist on a PP goal and an assist on a empty netter.

I have very little issue for now Mcdavid was handled tonight.

Markstrom
Top line doing nothing.
Odd selection for players out there in the last 4 mins.

There are the reasons as to why the Flames lost right there. No more no less.

The annoying thing about Markstrom is that it's one team specific. I have no doubts had LA beaten the Oil he'd be outplaying Quick.

Come back to tie it really gutted when they couldn’t get the win.

Odds are long but one game at a time

It's not over, but down 3-1 is going to be a brutal, brutal hill to climb.

It hasn't been a great season. The season includes the playoffs, which has been hilariously bad.

The karma of an online forum should pale in comparison to employing Evander Kane.

Karma does not exist.

Guys like Hyman, Ceci, Kane, RNH showed up in this series whereas guys like Toffoli, Dube, Mang, Tkachuk disappeared for huge stretches.

I think that was the big difference. We always knew their McDrai would be getting points, but their secondary showed up where ours were no shows.

I am not pleased.

Players didn’t execute but my biggest concern is Sutter. He’s been out coached both series and hasn’t adapted at all or made the necessary adjustments. He was supposed to be the ace up our sleeve.

Markstrom with an .840 save percentage again tonight.

Down to .850 for the series now. 19 goals against on 12 expected goals against for Markstrom.

Don’t care how the team is playing in front of him, you’re not going to beat anyone with that type of goaltending performance

Darryl Darryl Darryl, you hold a special place in the heart of this city but your stubbornness may be our demise in this series. Why you continue to roll 4 ****in lines late in the 3rd period of a tie game, against your biggest rival, on the road, down 2 1 in the series, literally boggles my mind. At some point shorten the god damn bench. Its ok to play 9 forwards sometimes.

That lineup when it's 3-3 is mind blowing.
Also, on that offensive zone faceoff Sutter didn't pull the goalie and put in the first line.

Instead, pull the goalie with 1 minute left in our defensive zone.

No 5v5 goal differential is the best predictor of playoff success.
