Just hammer McStupid and Draisuckl every chance you get. To many times players have the chance to lay them out but let up. Neither one of them thinks they are allowed to be hit. Both complain to the ref every time they are touched.

James Neal on a 2 on 2 would be instant loss for the Oilers.
Also, as if they would even consider putting anyone outside of their 2 saviors out there.

Glad to hear Dube is back.....thx fellas fr answering.

What Darryl is doing here is so much bigger than just being here. The intangibles he is here giving the players, management etc etc etc.

His most famous quote to me has always been ....don't get too high and don't get too low.

Man he has allot. ...allot of wisdom. And for those it's rubbed off on to become better people and not just hockey players is so so so important.

Glad we circled back and got him back here....and just in time by the looks 9f so many things.

I don't get some of the doubts though and am.glad to see Darryls positive influence change the narrative on here and all over the place.

Unfinished business is gonna taste damn good.

Ah, yes. The famous 2019 "hockey summit" featuring the greatest minds in the game:

McDavid
Draisaitl
Nurse
Neal

Can anyone post the video of Chucky jabbing DrySaddle in the face several times trying to get him to fight after he was slewfooted by
the German Gretzky? Obviously, that invitation was declined...

Will be interesting to see how the Flames contain McDavid tonight. I think the biggest part of it will be their incredibly aggressive forecheck. Oilers D are terrible as a group - especially at moving out the puck. Nurse is their best defencemen, and I have noticed that he always screws up under pressure. Their D as a unit aren't strong at moving the puck up the ice, especially under pressure.

So, if the Flames are effective on the forecheck again as they have been, while maintaining their solid defensive positioning keeping the centre on the ice behind the opposing centre until the puck is turned over, I think they will be able to dictate play all night.

Tippett is a good coach (I mean, he HAS to be looking at that team as a group). He will be making adjustments, but when you have a lousy team, you don't have many options on adjustments. Flames take this one handily.

As for the Draisaitl talk - he has the personality of an uncomfortable shoe. Just annoying and always dirty, but nobody notices it enough. That slewfoot on Tkachuk that game (the one when Backlund went after McDavid, and Tkachuk joined in) was dirty. Tkachuk tried to get him to fight - giving up a lot of size to him - but those gloves are cemented on. Tkachuk 'had to answer' for his hits on Kassian for some reason, and was vilified somehow even though he got rag-dolled by Kassian. It still irks me that Draisaitl didn't have to respond.

Tonight, I want to see Johnny start slashing and cross-checking Draisaitl back. With Ritchie on that line, I can guarantee you that Draisaitl won't dare retaliate. Funny how he goes after Gaudreau and Mangiapane, but even Tkachuk who is much smaller than him he wants no part of.

I also expect this to be a fairly spirited game. With how aggressive Calgary is on the forecheck and playing hard, I am assuming that Edmonton is going to respond again.

This is a game where Rinaldo and/or Robinson is an 'automatic in' - not sure it will be the case, but knowing Sutter, I can see him making a switch and getting one of them in the lineup - though there are ZERO players who deserve to be out (isn't that a nice change?). I have no idea what he is going to do with the lineup tonight. He will probably look at the roster on the Oilers, order the list from toughest to weakest, and make sure that the Flames have a tougher guy leftover, just in case. Or maybe he just sticks with the lineup that is working perfectly thus far. I have no clue.

James Neal
Went from the real deal to I started with nothing and have all of that left.
Carrying HIS tradition to another locker room (E=NG) he's a full grown voodoo doll of bad bad bad karma luck etc.

Each guy hanging from Mc Ssviours coat tails .....i actually feel bad for Connor .

These guys seem like a bunch of parasites to me.

If the flames can carry on their style of play over the last 2 games, I think tonight should be really interesting. The oiler's d is not very good, if the flames can establish a forecheck, there should be opportunity for mistakes, breakdowns and turnovers.

Oilers top line and PP are going to do their thing, but the rest of the team is mediocre, and I think Sutter's style should help the flames really do well.

Go Flames Go!!!

I love it.

Gotta love Darryl. How can you not. He gives little ...but what he does you have to really think about it.
That interview with Dave Hodge he did as a captain of the Hawks really says it all. He could perhaps tell you what your gonna ask before you ask it.

I really laugh at how anyone thinks they can outsmart him with his wit especially.
He doesn't GAF either....which I love even more ....and why should he.

I'm glad he's focused more on us as our own competition because sometimes your worst competition IS YOU.

We're all our own worst critics and that can destroy you if you let it. If someone wise shows you who you are and they really really know you that's love man.

Darryl loves this team . God I'd love to be a fly on the wall.

Example....where he puts his arm around Johnny and talks to him . Gold nuggets of wisdom for the student ....if he's willingly ready to listen to his teacher.

I'm damn jealous. These players need to understand that Darryl would never hurt them ....thats never been his thing. I hope Darryl is here to stay for a long long time...or as long as he'll stay because we're better with him than without.

Draisaitl reminds me of Jamie Tartt from Ted Lasso. Skilled but a jerk.

I'm sure their fan base loves him, but from the outside he seems like a knob.
He's the biggest whiner, drives me crazy. Always complaining about somebody it seems, that's why I call him Crysaitl
