Land Acknowledgements started due to a recommendation in one of the various Truth/Reconciliation things. It's been 'a thing' for a handful of years now in various places. Generally more governmental, but sports have been getting in on it lately too.

I kinda like Jim Hughson. He’s got great cadence, good vocabulary, nice flow, reads the play well.
He used to be too excitable and it became a bit of a schtick but I find he’s calmed down the last few years.

I don’t find the Flames being outplayed despite the shots. Just a bunch of deflections, but equal zone time IMO.

Interesting. Thank you! About 3 years seems about right. I wish they’d have explained it any one of the 20 or so times I’d seen it.
